Maine Legislative Memorial Scholarship Fund
Sixteen $1,000 awards (one per county) are made annually to students going to a two- or four-year degree granting Maine school. Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors or full/part-time post-secondary students accepted or enrolled in a Maine college. Graduate students are also eligible. Awards are based on academic excellence, school and community contributions, financial need, letters of recommendation, and a required essay. For more details, click on the scholarship title above.

Masonic Aid for Continuing Education
Scholarships for $1,000 each are available for 12 adults
pursuing higher education. May be full or part-time students.
Students must meet federal criteria for an independent
student. In addition, they must have exceptional financial
need, have a serious educational plan, and contribute to the

Maine Metal Products Association Scholarship
The Maine Metal Products Association Scholarship awards are given to individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding record and overall potential to attend an institution of higher learning majoring in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Machine Tool Technician
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
- Welding
- CADCAM for Metals Industry
This scholarship is restricted to the study of metal working trades and will be used to pay tuition costs, textbooks, lab fees, supplies, room and board. For more details, click on the scholarship title above.
Maine State Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
Two $1,500 scholarships are given to graduating
high school seniors: one who is planning to pursue an
associates degree in a technical program and one who is
planning to pursue a bachelors degree in a business-related
area. Preference may be given to students attending Maine
colleges. Awards are based on academic excellence, student
activities, financial need, letters of recommendation, and a

One $1,500 scholarship is given to an adult learner planning to pursue an education at a two-year degree
granting college. Preference may be to a student attending a
Maine college and seeking a degree in a business- or
education-related field. Awards are based on an adult
being 23 years or older and having legal dependents other than
a spouse.
